54264 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: What steps, if any, has the Minister taken to ensure coordination between other Ministers regarding the recalled coloured sand children's consumer product?

Hon Scott Simpson: Officials at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment are responsible for publicising recalls and have stood up an interagency working group to share information and ensure a coordinated response. They have worked with other agencies including the Ministry of Health, Health New Zealand, WorkSafe New Zealand and the Ministry of Education.
