54245 (2024). Rachel Boyack to the Minister for ACC: Does the ACC currently invest in any companies listed by the United Nations as involved in Israel’s unlawful settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that the responsibility for managing ACC’s investment fund resides with the ACC Board, which has delegated this function to a specific subcommittee. Ministers are not directly involved in decisions about ACC investments. I am further advised that ACC's investment policy is guided by New Zealand and international law, global ethical best practice, and ACC’s role in the health sector and investment community.
