54204 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Climate Change: What aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, if any, has the Minister or his Office received on New Zealand’s first biennial transparency report?

Hon Simon Watts: In my capacity as the Minister of Climate Change, I have received the following documents relating to the Biennial Transparency Report (BTR): 15/02/2024: Climate Weekly Update: Final Climate Weekly Update week of 19 February 2024. 17/04/2024: BRF-4457 - Publication of New Zealand’s Greenhouse Gas Inventory (1990 – 2022). 3/05/2024: BRF-4682 - Interim emission projections and modelling update. 15/08/2024: BRF-5133: New Zealand’s international climate change mitigation position. It is not in the public interest to release four further titles as they are under active consideration.
