54201 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Vocational Education: How much in total, if any, was spent on renumeration of Crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2024-25 financial year?

Hon Penny Simmonds: In the 2024-25 financial year, I was responsible for making appointments to the New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology (NZIST) Council and two of the Workforce Development Councils, Ringa Hora and Muka Tangata. The fees paid to the members of these bodies are disclosed in each organisation’s annual report. Please note that the financial year for NZIST runs from January to December. Therefore, council fees information has not yet been disclosed for the first half of 2025. Final, audited totals for board fees paid are published in the annual reports of each entity.
