Hon Karen Chhour: I refer the Member to the attached tables which show the number of tamariki that have entered the care of Oranga Tamariki since 1 November 2023, broken down by entry pathway and demographic. I also refer the Member to page 31 of the Oranga Tamariki 2022/23, which notes that, "a greater proportion of children in care are being placed with family/whānau or a caregiver who shares their ethnicity.
