54166 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Disability Issues: How much in total, if any, was spent on renumeration of Crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2024-25 financial year?

Hon Louise Upston: Regarding the Ministry of Disabled People – Whaikaha, I am advised $38,302 was spent from December 2024 to June 2025 for the New Zealand Sign Language Board (this covers the Board member fees, plus any expenses claimed such as travel). Prior to December 2024, the Ministry of Disabled People was a Departmental Agency within MSD. For the Ministry of Social Development, I refer the member to written reply 54126 (2025).
