54083 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: How much has been budgeted, if any, for renumeration of Crown appointees in the Minsiter's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2025-26 financial year?

Hon Chris Penk: I am responsible for appointments to the Valuers Registration Board (VRB), Cadastral Surveyors Licensing Board (CSLB) and the Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa New Zealand Geographic Board. For the 2025/26 year no funding is budgeted for Board member fees for the CSLB or the VRB as fees are directly funded from professional registration fees paid by practitioners in both industries. In 2025/26 the New Zealand Geographic Board has budgeted $27,090 to cover fees for Crown appointed board members.
