Hon Chris Penk: I am responsible for Crown appointments to three Boards. Valuers Registration Board • 4 of 5 members are appointed by the Minister for Land Information. The fifth member is the Valuer-General as ex-officio chair. • The Board has 1 chair and 1 deputy chair. Cadastral Survey Licensing Board • 5 of 6 members are appointed by the Minister for Land Information. The sixth member is the Surveyor-General. In addition, the Minister appoints 2 substitute members who attend meetings when ordinary members are absent. • The Board has 1 chair. Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa New Zealand Geographic Board • 8 of 10 members are appointed by the Minister for Land Information. The other members are the Surveyor-General as ex-officio chairperson, and the Land Information New Zealand National Hydrographer. • The board has 1 chair.
