54014 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Finance: How much in total, if any, was spent on renumeration of Crown appointees in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2024-25 financial year?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Board member remuneration (total and by director) for each operationally independent Crown Company or entity is disclosed in its Annual Report to comply with NZ reporting requirements. This information is publicly available from each entity's published annual report. The Treasury does not consolidate entity performance information by Minister portfolio. I am advised that providing the Member with this information would require the agencies I am responsible for to undertake a substantial collation exercise. As such I consider that the time, and hence the expense, of answering the Member’s question is not in the public interest.
