53975 (2024). Tamatha Paul to the Minister of Housing: What, if any, is the average energy saving for Kainga Ora households that have had solar panels installed through Kainga Ora's Renewable Energy Programme?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that customers can expect to save between $200-$1000 on their power bills annually. The savings will depend on the size of the system installed on their home and the customer’s power consumption behaviours.
