53951 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 in achieving the individual measure ‘The National Immunisation Programme to publish nationally accepted guidelines for the functioning of the immunisation system, including application of the matrix for outreach services’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that this individual measure was not progressed in the January to March 2024 quarter. I am further advised that the vision and principles that guide the functioning of the immunisation system will be defined in the Strategic Approach to Immunisation in New Zealand. Work on the framework was underway during the January to March 2024 quarter, and is being led by the Public Health Agency.
