53937 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Children: How many crown appointee positions, if any, are there in the Minister's departments, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2025-26 financial year, broken down by board and number of chairs, deputy chairs and members?

Hon Karen Chhour: In relation to the Oranga Tamariki Ministerial Advisory Board, I refer the Member to my answer to WPQ 10186 (2025). Tā (Sir) Mark Solomon is the Chair. I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that for the 2025/26 financial year, there are nine operational grievance panels, in line with the number of operational Oranga Tamariki residences, and a maximum of 27 panellists (three per panel) at any one time. Each panel has a self-nominated Chair, plus two panel members.
