Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 in actioning the recommendation ‘Invest in digital solutions, such as a catch-up “calculator”, for use by immunisation providers to ensure all age-appropriate required vaccines are given in the most efficient way’ under ‘Priority Area 6: Catch-up immunisations’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, planning was underway for a high-level assessment to understand what additional functionality would be required for the Aotearoa Immunisation Register (AIR) to support the development of a catch-up calculator.
