Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 in actioning the recommendation ‘As per the Waitangi Tribunal WAI 2575 – Health Services and Outcomes Inquiry, the Crown will actively implement and monitor a performance improvement framework focused on achieving equity’ under ‘Priority Area 10: Quality and standards for providers delivering immunisations to tamariki in New Zealand’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, work continued on developing the Strategic Approach to Immunisation in New Zealand Framework, led by the Public Health Agency.
