53887 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What measures, if any, have been implemented in the quarter January to March 2024 to ensure that rural and remote communities have adequate access to dental services?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, planning and manufacturing of new mobile dental clinics continued. I am further advised that planning is underway for the redesign of the community-based oral health services programme, which will include reviewing assets and workforce to ensure that rural and remote communities have adequate access to dental services. I also refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 19835 (2024).
