53884 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter January to March 2024 to reduce waiting times for dentists across the country?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised during the January to March 2024 quarter, good progress was made to reduce waiting times for dentists across the country. At the end of the quarter, there were fewer patients waiting longer than 365 days for dental surgery in the public sector, compared to patients who were waiting at the end of the April-June 2023 quarter.
