53848 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: What is the average Ministry of Education payment made to sensitive claim (formerly known as historic abuse claims) claimants with legal representation, before 9 May 2025 and after 9 May 2025?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that, as at 17 November 2025: Before 9 May 2025, the average was $16,132 across 48 legally represented claims. Since 9 May 2025, the average is $25,000 across 10 legally represented claims
