53797 (2025). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister for Regulation: What specific guidance exists for agencies in respect of compliance with the Regulatory Standards Act; if no such guidance exists is any planned and when will it be available?

Hon David Seymour: Section 26 of the Regulatory Standards Act 2025 provides for guidance to be issued jointly by the Minister for Regulation and the Attorney-General to support agencies to meet their responsibilities under the Act. That guidance is currently under development in advance of the relevant parts of the Act coming into force.
