Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter April to June 2024 toward the action ‘Develop postvention resources for tangihanga and funeral celebrants’ within "Action area 8: Postvention – Supporting individuals, whānau and families, and communities after a suicide" as part of the Ministry of Health’s Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2019–2024 for Aotearoa New Zealand?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that the Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2019–2024 outlines 57 actions that require collective effort across agencies and communities. I am further advised that implementation of most of these actions has either been completed or is underway.
