Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I have received no aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice relating to the meeting with Te Runanga o Ngāi Tahu on 2 July 2024 from officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). Furthermore, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
