53654 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Does the nearly 70% of calls to the Whakarongorau Mental Health After Hours service, from those 24 years old and younger, raise the need for government to change the age limit for child and adolescent mental health services, from 17 and under, to 24 years old; if not, why not?
Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that young people aged 14 to 24 can access child and adolescent mental health services, ensuring developmentally appropriate care.
I am further advised that youth primary mental health and addiction services are available for those aged 12 to 24.
