Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What estimates, if any, has he received since 1 June 2025 relating to the number of people experiencing homelessness or rough sleeping in New Zealand, including any information broken down by city, region, or territorial authority, whether from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, local councils, other agencies, or frontline providers - and how do any such estimates compare with those previously published in Homelessness Insights Reports?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Homelessness Insights report published on 23 July 2025 is the latest information provided to me regarding estimates of people experiencing homelessness by officials.
