53263 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Has he received any advice on continue, pause and stop options for the Mt Messenger Bypass, and if so, what were the respective estimated costs of those options?

Hon Chris Bishop: I have received a wide range of advice on the Mt Messenger Bypass. As the Member is aware, the project is subject to ongoing property acquisition which is currently before the courts. As such, it would be inappropriate to comment on potential options and the associated costs.
