53158 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Climate Change: Which agencies, if any, were consulted regarding industrial allocation for New Zealand Units (NZU) under the Climate Change Response Act 2002 (CCRA) in 2024?

Hon Simon Watts: The Treasury, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Ministry of Primary Industries, Te Puni Kokori and the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency were consulted on the annual updates to the industrial allocation regulations in 2024.
