53154 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Climate Change: Which agencies, if any, were consulted regarding industrial allocation for New Zealand Units (NZU) under the Climate Change Response Act 2002 (CCRA) in 2020?

Hon Simon Watts: The Treasury, the Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment and the Ministry for Primary Industries were consulted on the annual updates to industrial allocation regulations in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. This answer also addresses Written Parliamentary Questions 53155, 53156, and 53157 (2025).
