Hon Simon Watts: I regularly receive correspondence from Emissions Trading Scheme stakeholders, including firms that are eligible to receive industrial allocation. My office handles a high volume of communications each week, and compiling a detailed record of this would require significant time and resources. This undertaking would impede the operation of my office which is not in the public interest.
