53138 (2025). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: Is there a government document in which it is estimated that “Tourism New Zealand data estimates Michelin’s arrival to bring in up to 36,000 more international visitors" if so what is that document?

Hon Louise Upston: The arrivals are derived from Tourism New Zealand’s internal analysis, which incorporates Michelin campaign-specific market research and historical campaign performance. The figures are included in reports that I received from my officials. In the interest of transparency, a list of reports received by my office from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and is regularly published on the MBIE website.
