53137 (2025). Lemauga Lydia Sosene to the Minister of Internal Affairs: Further to her answer to written question 51527 (2025): did she take any other proposals regarding the Offshore Gambling Duty to Cabinet at this Cabinet meeting?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The proposal to increase the Offshore Gambling Duty, which will apply to online casino operators, from 12 percent to 16 percent, with an amount equivalent to 4 percent of Gross Gambling Revenue (GGR) to be ring-fenced for community returns from 1 January 2027 was the only proposal regarding the Offshore Gambling Duty that I took to Cabinet.
