53115 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: Was any content, in any subject area, of the draft curriculum currently out for consultation recommended to be included by any non-governmental organisations such as consultancy firms; if so, which content or contents?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) engaged Learning First to provide advice to support the development of the strengthened national curriculum. As part of this process, the Ministry considered recommendations they provided. Their insights help to ensure the curriculum is aligned with those used internationally, while remaining tailored to the needs of New Zealand learners. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 53117, 53118, 53119 and 53120 (2025).
