53112 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: What advice, if any, did the Minister receive on the draft sex education curriculum?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) developed a draft Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) framework for consultation with the public. Consultation took place from 11 April to 9 May 2025. Feedback received was then independently analysed by an external provider.
