53016 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: How many FTEs, if any, are currently working on implementing the changes to the Accredited Employer Work Visa?

Hon Erica Stanford: For the week ending 14 November 2025, approximately 29 FTEs were working on the implementation of changes to the AEWV, including the two new seasonal visas due to go live in December. This implementation involves teams across MBIE and INZ including ICT, Operational Policy, Service Design, Change Delivery, Communications, Stakeholder Engagement and Risk & Verification teams. These figures do not include Managerial oversight.
