52857 (2025). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Police: Of the 30,961 alcohol breath tests falsely or erroneously recorded by Police, how many (if any) were self-administered, or administered to another Police officer?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the tests were recorded by cycling the breath testing device through the passive screening test. This does not require a person to provide a breath sample. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Questions 52858 and 52859 (2025).
