52848 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: How many, if any, contracts did the Ministry of Education enter into for the writing of the draft curriculum currently out for consultation, listed by contractor name and date of contract commencement?

Hon Erica Stanford: Writing of the curriculum content is undertaken by Ministry of Education (the Ministry) staff, with support and input from external experts and organisations. While this includes input from teachers, universities, and external organisations, the Ministry retains full ownership of the curriculum and is committed to making sure it reflects our national context and values. I am advised by the Ministry that the number of contracts cannot be provided in the time available to respond to written parliamentary questions. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 52849, 52850, and 52852 (2025).
