Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology: What is the projected number of graduate roles, if any, that will be offered across the Minister’s departments, agencies, Crown entities, and any other bodies for which the Minister is responsible, as at 1 June 2026?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: As Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, I have no responsibility for any government departments. With regard to agencies, Crown entities and any other bodies under the Science, Innovation and Technology portfolio, I have been advised that Earth Science New Zealand is projecting approximately 140 graduate roles as at 1 June 2026.
