52798 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What is the projected number of graduate roles, if any, that will be offered across the Minister’s departments, agencies, Crown entities, and any other bodies for which the Minister is responsible, as at 1 June 2026?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade does not have specific graduate positions, but annually, the Ministry recruits entry level staff (Early in Careers) based on overall workforce needs. As of November 2025, the planned size of the 2026 intake is 23.
