52778 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Health: How many jobs, if any, will be directly created by Kidz First and McIndoe Building Recladding, Middlemore Hospital?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is investing in modern health infrastructure because it delivers better care for New Zealanders, supports jobs, and drives economic growth across the regions. I am advised that Health New Zealand estimates up to 226 staff and contractors are estimated to be involved in the Kidz First and McIndoe Building Recladding at Middlemore Hospital over the life of the project.
