Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Minister for National Security and Intelligence, I regularly request and receive advice from officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) on a range of matters. I have not received any formal briefing documents from my officials in DPMC regarding intelligence gathered by the United States that Israel’s military lawyers had warned there was evidence that could support war crimes charges against Israel for its military campaign in Gaza. Staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
