Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that since 27 November 2023, my responsible agencies have spent the following amounts on contractors and consultants to assist in change processes, role disestablishments, and/or restructures: As at 31 July 2024, the Ministry of Education has spent $682,315.19, listed by month below: o February 2024: $19,834.26 o March 2024: $94,834.70 o April 2024: $154,864.44 o May 2024: $172,732.97 o June 2024: $150,311.32 o July 2024: $89,737.05 The New Zealand Qualifications Authority has spent the below amounts, listed by the relevant month: o March 2024: $37,163 o April 2024: $55,398 o May 2024: $48,446 The Education Review Office has not spent any money on contractor and consultants in the specified timeframe.
