52619 (2025). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: Who provided him the information that he based his statement of 31 October 2025 that if Hon Andrew Bayly had not resigned as a Minister in February 2025 he would have dismissed him, and on what date was he provided it?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: I did not base the statement on any one piece of information. As I have said publicly, based on the information I had at the time and the information I have today, I consider Mr Bayly made the right choice to resign.
