52584 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Defence: What written advice, notes, briefings, reports and aides-memoire, if any, has the Minister received on the P-QUADs mechanism?

Hon Judith Collins: The briefing pack for the South Pacific Defence Ministers’ Meeting 2023 provided a short description of PQUADs in the context of the Pacific regional architecture. Officials have provided no specific advice on PQUADs, but briefing packs to support engagements with PQUAD members reiterate our support for it.
