52567 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Which services was Oranga Tamariki funding that "weren't core business", listed by service and organisation funded to provide it?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised Oranga Tamariki are currently in the process of finalising contracts for the 2024/25 financial year. I have been clear that core business for Oranga Tamariki would prioritise high-risk young people, including statutory services such as Youth Justice, Care & Protection, Transition Services and family violence sexual violence services. Contracting decisions are an operational matter and are the responsibility of the Chief Executive of Oranga Tamariki.
