52549 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Police

52549 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Police: What feedback, if any, has NZ Police and/or his Office received from Muslim communities interactions with NZ Police?
Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Police receives feedback from communities through a number of sources including but not limited to personal interactions, via Police’s reporting services, online-forms on the Police website, calls for service, agency partners, service providers and engagements. Feedback depends on the nature and purpose of the interaction. Identifying people based on religion is situation dependent. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Questions 52550 and 52551 (2024).
