52546 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Vocational Education: How many work placements, if any, were students within vocational and work based learning placed in, between 1 November 2024 and 1 November 2025, broken down by industry?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that the Tertiary Education Commission does not hold data on the number of work placements undertaken by learners in provider-based vocational education. Work-based learners are employed and undertake training as part of their employment. They do not undertake additional work placements as part of their training. This is also my response for written parliamentary questions 52547, 52548, 52549, and 52550 (2025).
