52530 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Justice: What advice, reports, briefings, or any other documents, if any, has the Minister received from the Ministerial Advisory Group for Retail Crime, by date and title?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: Several key documents that I have received from the Ministerial Advisory Group for Victims of Retail Crime have been proactively released on the Ministry of Justice webpage here: www.justice.govt.nz/justice-sector-policy/ministerial-advisory-group-for-victims-of-retail-crime/ Two further reports containing proposals from the MAG are being withheld in full as they are under active consideration. I believe it would prejudice the orderly and effective conduct of government decision making processes to release the titles of proposals that are under active consideration.
