52515 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Health: How many jobs, if any, will be directly created by Hutt Valley Te Whare Ahuru Acute Mental Health Unit, Wellington?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is investing in modern health infrastructure because it delivers better care for New Zealanders, supports jobs, and drives economic growth across the regions. I am advised that Health New Zealand estimates that up to 70 staff and contractors are estimated to be involved in the Te Whare Ahuru Mental Health Unit, Hutt Hospital over the life of the project.
