52512 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Health: How many jobs, if any, will be directly created by Linear Accelerators Replacement, Auckland City Hospital?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is investing in modern health infrastructure because it delivers better care for New Zealanders, supports jobs, and drives economic growth across the regions. I am advised that Health New Zealand estimates that up to 105 staff and contractors are estimated to be involved in the replacement of linear accelerators MV1 and MV6 at Auckland City Hospital over the life of the project.
