52510 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Health: How many jobs, if any, will be directly created by Dunedin Hospital Sterile Services Unit?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is investing in modern health infrastructure because it delivers better care for New Zealanders, supports jobs, and drives economic growth across the regions. I am advised that Health New Zealand estimates that up to 61 staff and contractors are estimated to be involved in the Dunedin Hospital Sterile Services Unit over the course of construction activity, including up to 44 construction staff.
