52451 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Transport: Has construction begun on the SH1 Ōtaki to north of Levin project?

Hon Chris Bishop: Yes, construction has begun on the Ōtaki to north of Levin project. Work is underway across the alignment including building haul roads and sediment retention ponds and reservoirs. Other work underway including fencing, making access tracks, vegetation clearance to prepare the site for the next stages.
