52448 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Transport: Has construction begun on the Rolleston Access Improvements – Package 1 project?

Hon Chris Bishop: Yes, construction began on 15 October 2025. The contractor is established on site, with construction management plans and programme prepared. Lizard salvage and relocation, surveying, site clearance, and fencing completed. Construction has started with earthworks, stormwater drainage, utility relocation, and pre-casting of concrete subway components underway.
