52443 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: What, if any, specific provisions has Oranga Tamariki made to "safely transition tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau receiving the services to another service", beyond wind-down periods in contracts with community service providers?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that the provision to wind-down services is intended to meet these needs. Oranga Tamariki Contract Managers are currently engaged with affected providers. If a provider has concerns, I encourage them to raise these with Oranga Tamariki directly.
